Zone Chevy SEMA Truck with Fox Coilovers!

Zone Chevy SEMA Truck with Fox Coilovers!

After the addition of Iron Bull bumpers and a Warn 16,000lb winch the front of the Zone truck was lets just say… lacking. The factory coils are not meant to handle this kind of punishment, so a coil upgrade was in order. There are not a lot of easy direct swaps, so we ordered up some Fox coilovers and Eibach 700 lb/in coils. We had to cut apart a factory strut to steal the lower bushing assembly.  We want the factory style lower mount because this gives the best long term reliability. The upper mount was left with the COM bearing setup with a CNC’d upper mount. A lot of grease was packed around the COM bearing and a rubber washer was added to each side to seal it up. The upper COM bearing should last a very long time in this configuration. The final thing we did was cut out some rubber isolators for each side of the Eibach coil.
