Well the dust has settled from yet another SEMA Show. With thousands of manufacturers flocking to Las Vegas to show off their latest and greatest, media outlets buzzing for for newsworthy info, and well over a hundred thousand industry professionals from around the globe in attendance, this show is without a doubt one of the premiere industry shows and one that needs to be on everyone’s bucket list to attend. From monster trucks to low riders, drag cars to luxury exotics, if its automotive then the SEMA Show has something for it. SEMA stands for the Specialty Equipment Market Association

The 2012 Ultimate Adventure came to a finish over the weekend after 9 days,  and 1200+ miles. The final trail day followed a river gorge up through the mountains of an old silver mine in Idaho. The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking as Zone’s Jeep Comanche and the rest of the UA convoy made the climb to the top for a final photo. After setting up camp just before sundown, we started yesterday with the sun coming up over the dunes and got ready for a dune of wheeling in the sand dunes and mud flats. The terrain wasn’t the mists challenging, but made for a vast alternative to the rocks and mountain passes we’ve seen so far on this trip. Between steep hill climbs, high speed jumps, and muddy water crossings we filled the first half of the day wheeling before we headed back to camp to pack up our supplies and hit the road. Ultimate Adventure (UA) 2012 is underway. With over 2 dozen capable rigs taking on the first trail day of the adventure, the anticipation was high as we brought the Comanche out to take on the rocky and silt terrain. Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road’s Rick Pewe commanded the Zone longarm equipped 2-faced JK with what we believe to be the least amount of 1st day damage to date.
