2011 SEMA Show: Each year there is a show that acts as the grand finale and jump start for the automotive industry. Out in the desert oasis of Las Vegas, hundreds of thousands make the trip for from around the US and abroad to see what’s new in the automotive aftermarket at the show that is known simply as SEMA. Zone’s been busy setting up the booth (#30170) and placing vehicles around the convention center in preparation for the start of the 2011 SEMA Show out in Las Vegas this Tuesday. With 2000+ companies exhibiting this show is is set to be largest in recent years. It seems like deja vu, the MJ stripped down, parts strewn throughout the R&D shop, a quickly approaching deadline and long build list left to finish. After a 6 week scramble back in May-June to gather parts and build our 1990 Jeep Comanche in time for this year’s Ultimate Adventure, the rig, and its drivers, were put to the test during the week long journey traversing over 1000 miles, some half dozen trails, and scorching 100+ days. SEMA 2011 Each year 2000 companies and over 100,000 people from around the world gather in Las Vegas for one of the largest automotive shows, The SEMA Show.
