Project MJ Update: Unibody Plating, Winch, Bed, Wheels, and Tires

Project MJ Update:

With D-Day approaching quickly and only 3 weeks until the Petersen’s 4Wheel & Offroad Ultimate Adventure, Dave and Carter show you what the Zone Offroad crew have been busy working on. With the unibody strengthened through a combination of new plating and roll cage upgrades, the work can begin to properly set up the suspension and interior. After test fitting tires, the guys had to rework the front inner fenders, cutting into the floorboard and firewall, but who needs legroom? The winch mount is mocked up in the front and the new Warn  XP9.5 winch will be finding its home. On the bed, plenty of rust has been removed as we prepped the new Hannemann fiberglass bedsides. In addition, we’ve begun taking measurements for suspension, and are receiving new parts like the brand new, soon to be released Maxxis 40×13.50×17 Trepador Radials and 17×9 Mickey Thompson Side Biters. With new parts arriving each day, this build is starting to pick up steam. Coming soon are engine and drivetrain swap, new custom suspension, completed roll cage, paint, and more.
