Coldwater, MI—October 17, 2014— Zone Offroad Products continues to add to its lift kit arsenal with new 3.5-4″ combo lift kits for the 2006-2015 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD trucks. These new combo kits are a great option to improve the Combo kits are an affordable option designed to bring together Zone’s Adventure Series UCA lift kit and small body lift allowing you to install larger tires and retain the factory ride quality. These new kits for the Ram 1500 trucks improved offroad performance and clearance for up to 35″ tires.
The heart of these new kits are the pair of heavy duty replacement upper control arms (UCAs) designed to improve range of motion for more suspension travel when offroad. These new control arms dwarf the factory units and are built from 1/8″ steel, boxed and fully welded with CNC-machined bushing and ball joint cups repositioned to operate at 2-3″ of lift. They use OE durometer rubber bushings and greaseable OE-style heavy duty ball joints for quiet, reliable operation and superior corrosion resistance to uniball style control arms. Along with the UCAs, these kits uses a top mounted strut spacer to provide the lift. 2012-2015 Rams use 2″ strut spacers whereas the 2006-2011 Rams use a 2.5″ strut/preload spacer along with multipoint differential drop kit to correct CV axle operating angles.
In addition to the front adventure series lift these combo kits include a 1.5″ body lift designed for quick easy installation. New crushproof body mount blocks are supplied along with longer grade 10.9 body bolts to secure mount the body and bed. Front and rear bumper brackets are included to maintain the factory appearance.
