Coldwater, MI—March 17, 2014— The latest kit to hit the market from Zone Offroad Products are the 6″ Suspension Systems for the 2014 Ford F150 4WD. Designed and engineered to not only improve the looks of the new Ford trucks, these kits are designed to maximize offroad performance without compromising the on-road drivability. This kit uses a similar design to the proven 2009-13 F150 lift kits with a few updates designed specifically for the 2014.
This new 6″ suspension lift kit uses a pair of thick 1/4″ steel crossmembers tied together by a differential skidplate creating a rigid subframe and great offroad protection. A pair of CNC-machined steering knuckles reposition the steering and hub assemblies for compatibility with factory electronic stability control (ESC) systems. New upper strut mounted spacers are supplied to reposition the factory struts and retain the ride quality. The front differential is relocated using a 3-piece mounting system designed to keep CV axle operating angles at a minimum. Also included up front are sway bar relocation brackets, new cam bolts, and a billet aluminum driveshaft spacer.
The rear of this 6″ kit a replacement 5″ offset pin block and u-bolt kit is utilized to retain factory ride quality and eliminate stacking blocks. This results in a safer rear lift and a level the stance on the late model F150 trucks that can clear up to 37″ tires. Rounding out the kit is rear brake line relocation along with your choice of Zone hydro or nitro shocks.
