Zone’s Comanche, aka Project MJ prep for 2012 UA

Zone’s Comanche has had a busy tour of duty over the last year since being built in just 6 short weeks for the 2011 Ultimate Adventure and heading out for events all over the country from PA Jeep Show to Easter Jeep Safari and even SEMA. Once again Zone Offroad is proud to be the official suspension of the Ultimate Adventure. We’ve had some time now to rework a number of components on the rig and get it ready for the 2012 Ultimate Adventure with Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. While we can’t disclose the location of this year’s journey, we are excited to see what terrain is in store for us. The rig is getting attention in the form of fresh paint (Jeep’s new Gecko Green), custom interior/dash, TJM 12,000lb winch with synthetic cable, Rigid LED lights, custom bed storage, NP-241 Rocktrac transfer case, 17×8.5 Walker Evans Beadlocks, 40×13.50×17 Nitto Mud Grapplers, and plenty more.

Going on this year’s adventure will be Zone’s marketing rep Carter Reed and sales rep Steve Fendt. With just over 2 weeks until the trip begins, the crew over at Zone is beginning to feel the crunch to get the Comanche finished. Check back soon for more updates as the rig comes together.
