Zone Offroad is now offering 2” leveling kits for the redesigned 2019 RAM 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks. Originally designed for the 2014-2018 RAM 2500/3500 HD models, these kits have been tested and confirmed compatible with the new 2019 models. Designed to lift and level the stance, this kit uses a pair of top mounted, steel fabricated coil spacers that bolt into the coil bucket to correct orientation of unique spring design to keep them from bowing out (a common issue with other leveling kits). The result is a level stance while maintaining ride quality and handling characteristics with clearance for 35" tires to be installed. These leveling kits are compatible with gas or diesel equipped trucks. Hi, I have a 2017 Ram with 5.7Hemi, 2 wheel drive, crewcab. I was wanting to know if you or someone makes an aftermarket or dealer item to make my truck have air-ride all 4 wheels. The 2019 limited ram comes from the factory with it. If you have any ideas or could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it…..

Hey Thomas, at this point we aren’t offering any suspension parts for the 2WD RAM applications as they use a different suspension design than the 4WD RAM models. I don’t know of anyone offering an aftermarket air-ride lift conversion for them currently. While I’m not certain of the electronics side of the conversion, I know the base suspension is similar between air-ride and non-air-ride models so it may be possible to purchase the parts directly from RAM to bolt in the airbag struts, rear air bags, compressor, ride height sensors, etc to convert over to the factory air-ride (at stock ride height adjustments)
I have the zone leveling kit for a 2016 Ram item # ZND1201. I put on new isolator rubbers on the springs. When putting on your leveling kit the springs kept wanting to slip out when lowering slowly to load them. This due to the round internal 4” bushing welded to the spacer not being long enough to retain the isolator and allows the spring to bend the rubber and pop either in or forward on the isolator. Your flange is only 1” tall others I have seen are 1 1/2” tall to retain the entire isolator. This seems like a safety issue not only on the road but also for the installer. As the spring can move out of the seat. Less likely once loaded and driving but absolutely while installing.

There are specific instructions in the install guide for how the spacer and rubber isolator need to be installed to properly seat the spring and keep it from bowing due to the unique mounting design.
