Another Safari is in the books. 2014 has proven to be one of the best years yet in Moab, UT as the Red Rock 4Wheelers hosted the 2014 Easter Jeep Safari. They welcomed thousands of Jeepers (among others) for a week of trail riding filled with amazing views, challenging terrain, and a 2-day vendor show opened up to the public. Zone Offroad has been attending this event for years and we’re continually impressed by the turnout at this event.
The crew from Zone Offroad made the long haul out from Michigan for the weeklong show with the company JK and displays in tow. The week was filled trail riding by day and meeting-n-greets by night with a jam-packed week out in the red rocks. While the event is known for Jeeps, there is always a decent turnout of Toyotas, Suzukis, and fullsize trucks that take to the trails during the week. We ran Poison Spider Mesa, Seven Mile Rim, Behind the Rocks, Steel Bender and a few spots out at Area BFE during our week. This year was lucky to have good weather and most of the week and we enjoyed our time our on the trails, taking in the views, and catching up with the customers, media, clubs and a few dealers that made it out.
This was our first year setting up a booth at the vendor show and we were lucky enough to grab a spot inside. Thursday and Friday the booth stayed busy as customers stopped by to chat, checked out new products and the JK we had on display, and to grab their Beer Me! coupons, a special offer we have been making for years for a free pint of hand crafted ale at our favorite eatery, the Moab Brewery.
Moab always amazes; from the breathtaking views, the challenging terrain, or the well organized event and hospitality of the people. We’re looking forward to making it back to Moab next year for the much anticipated 50th Annual Easter Jeep Safari, as always the week leading up to Easter.
