Project MJ Update: With the clock ticking and just over 4 weeks to the Ultimate Adventure, the team worked hard last week and through part of the Memorial Day weekend to prep the Jeep for the Ultimate Adventure 2011. So far the body panels, interior, windshield, axles, suspension, bed, lots of sheet metal and most of the drivetrain have been removed. The engine is staying in for now to help mock up clearance for the new one (details to come soon). With the tear down behind us, the team is now preparing for new parts to go on the MJ. Plans

Zone Offroad headed down to sunny Florida for the 8th Annual Jeep Beach event in Daytona Beach. Playing host to the 1000 Jeeps in attendance, the Mid Florida Jeep Club organized events starting Wednesday with dinners, a poker run, vendor show, obstacle course, parade on the beach, and pool party to fill everyone’s time while in town through the weekend. During the Saturday vendor show at the Daytona International Speedway, we had great feedback from current customers and vendors that stopped by our booth to say hi. This year for Jeep Blessing, Zone Offroad teamed up with Don Nester Chevrolet out of Roscommon, MI to enjoy the festivities. Even though it was overcast most of the day, the rain held off and everyone (other then those participating in the mud bog) were able to stay dry for the show.  The crowd of thousands grew throughout the day, especially as the trail rides and mud bog started. Zone Offroad made the trip out to Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah and had a chance to hit the trails, talk to customers and enjoy a few beers at the Moab Brewery. If you haven’t been out to Moab for EJS, it’s one of those trips you have to try in your lifetime. Thousands flock each Spring in all types of off-road vehicles for this week long event hosted by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers.
