Coldwater, MI—December 18, 2014— Zone Offroad Products continues to expand its lineup for the late model RAM HD trucks with new 4″ standard and radius arm suspension systems for the 2014-2015 RAM 2500 and 2013-2014 RAM 3500 4WD GAS trucks. Engineered to match the strength of the late model RAM HD trucks, these 4″ systems allow for improved ride quality and handling on road while improving offroad performance and allowing for up to 37″ tires to be installed.
Up front these systems use a pair of dual rate 4″ coil springs to provide the extra height and smooth controlled performance in the harshest of terrains. A forged drop pitman arm is supplied to correct steering angles along with a track bar drop bracket to recenter the front axle. A pair of sway bar drop brackets reposition the OE sway bar for optimal performance along with extended polyurethane bump stops to limit up travel and brake line brackets to allow full droop. To correct the front suspension geometry at the new height, Zone Offroad offers radius arm drop brackets as well as replacement heavy duty radius arms. The new radius arms are a substantial upgrade to the factory stamped units and improve the ground clearance compared to drop bracket kits. The arms are fully boxed, internally gusseted and designed to bolt in the factory location while correcting the suspension geometry for 4-6.5″ of lift. At the frame mount, the arms utilize extra large, greaseable bushings to isolate road noise and vibrations while the axle mount is designed to retain the factory alignment cams for adjustability. The arms are formed inward to maximize tire clearance and looks great under the new RAM HDs. Also supplied are your choice of Zone hydro or nitro shocks at all 4 corners for improved ride and performance. In the rear of the RAM 2500 kits 2.5″ heavy duty coil spacers supplied to retain OE ride quality without effecting the tow capacity. Extended rear sway bar end links are included along with a track bar bracket to recenter the rear axle. For the RAM 3500 trucks using the tried and true leaf sprung suspension, Zone offers both 2″ and 3″ rear block and u-bolt options to achieve your desired stance.
In addition to this kit, Zone offers both single and dual steering stabilizer kits to fit the redesigned front end. Available in both white (3000 series) and black (7000 series) finishes, these steering stabilizer kits are far superior to the factory stabilizer unit and a great addition to help control larger tires on and offroad. The single kits are a stock replacement while the dual kits install stacked in the stock location.
