Coldwater, MI— Zone Offroad Products now offers adventure series upper control arms (UCA) for late model Chevy 1/2-ton 2WD/4WD truck and SUVs. These new A-arms dwarf the stock units designed to take a beating out on the trails. The arms are built from boxed 1/8″ steel, fully welded and CNC machined for a precise fit. They are designed as a heavy duty replacement to the factory A-Arms and are compatible with stock, leveled or lifted 2007-2013 Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton 2WD/4WD trucks to unlock the full potential of your truck’s suspension.
In addition to their extra strength, these new arms trump the factory components by improving the ball joint positioning to provide a greater range of motion. High quality Raybestos ball joints can handle heavy duty and offroad use allowing the more suspension droop and eliminating ball joint bind common with on the factory upper control arms. The ball joints are greaseable for quick servicing and offer far superior corrosion protection over uniball style control arms. If replacement ball joints are ever needed they are readily available through most auto part stores. On the frame side the arms utilize OE-style rubber mount bushings for a smooth operation and long service life. Brake line attachment points are included on the arms for a factory-like fit. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box for quick an easy installation. Optional weld-on steering stops are included to allow for wider tires and deeper offset wheels.

Hello I am looking for help I have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 4.7 4×4 slt I need upper control arms. I haven’t been able to find the correct fit for my stock spindle as the ball joint stems aren’t long enough on most after market arms I have found.
If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Andy, we don’t offer UCA’s for the ’99-06 GM1500 trucks currently. The 1500HD models use the chassis/suspension of the 2500HD/3500HD trucks.
I have a 2015 tlz Silverado 1500 4×4 and want upper control arms that increase the wheel travel, my truck has the tow package, is this the hd package? I love the covered ball joints, I would never put exposed uniballs on my daily driver, how much more wheel travel do these arms give? And do the 3/4-1 ton uca fit my truck?
Hey Vince, if you’re truck is marked a 1500 then its equipped with the 1/2-ton suspension. The tow package is just that, towing equipment in the rear. Our #C2310 heavy duty UCAs are designed to fit the 2007-2016 Chevy/GMC 1500 trucks equipped with factory steel UCAs (aluminum UCA equipped trucks are not compatible). The arms are designed for 2-4″ of lift and can be used in combination with full lift kits. The design of our arms corrects the ball joint positioning to put the ball joint in the neutral position at 2″ of lift which will allow a wider range of motion for increased wheel travel (amount of travel will depend on your current suspension setup, bump stop positioning, extended strut length, etc). Do these come already with the moog ball joints or are those only when you replace them yourself with the ones provided on the website?

Will these UCA’s be compatible with the BDS 6” coil over suspension upgrade for the 2016 silverado 1500?
Hello Douglas, while our UCAs are compatible with the BDS 6″ GM1500 lift kits, we’ve since updated the listings as they do not fit all models of ’14-18 GM1500 trucks. The newer trucks used either stamped steel, cast steel, or cast aluminum control arms from the factory, these replacements only work on certain models. Bought a ‘13 Silverado, it has a 6” pro comp lift. I’m hoping these will work with it? I saw the comment above about the 6” bds lift. Will it work for any lift at 6”?
