Coldwater, MI—July 13, 2012—Zone Offroad continues to expand its kit offerings for the 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma 4wd with new 4″ and 6″ suspension lift kits to add to the current 2.5” spacers. These new systems give late model Tacoma owners complete and affordable systems to clear up to 35″ tires. The systems are built off stout 1/4″ thick front and rear crossmembers and incorporate all of the front differential mounting points to utilize the factory mounting brackets. This setup maintains the factory rubber differential mounts for an easier installation.
Mounted to the new crossmembers is a full width skid plate for added protection and further strengthen the subframe. The new crossmembers also relocate the lower control arms to match perfectly with the new extended-length ductile iron steering knuckles. The new knuckles dwarf the factory components, adding strength and durability to the entire system. This system works with the factory geometry and traction control settings for impressive handling characteristics for stock-like feel and function.
These complete systems include all of the necessary details like bump stop extensions, sway bar relocation, strut extensions, brake line relocation brackets, and choice of Zone Hydro or Nitro rear shocks. A lift block kit is used in the back to give the lift needed to match the front and gain clearance for a 35×12.50 max tire size (6” kits).
