Zone is getting ready to hit the road for 17th Annual PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show in York, PA this Sat-Sun, July 21-22, 2012. This event continues to be an excellent opportunity to see what Jeep lifestyle is all about. Whether you’re new to Jeeping or have been wheeling them for years, this show has something for you. Some of the planned activities are an RTI ramp, obstacle course to test your rig, show-n-shine contest with multiple entry classes, swap meet, and vendor show. The Zone grew headed out to Bloomsburg, PA over the weekend for the 3 day celebration of 25th Anniversary of the Family Event Summer 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals. The blistering heat didn’t keep thousands of 4WD enthusiasts away as trucks, Jeeps, and offroad vehicles of all varieties made there way to the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. Bloomsburg 4-Wheel Jamboree is Here! It’s that time again, the Bloomsburg 4-Wheel Jamboree starts tomorrow and runs through the weekend. If you’re into trucks, Jeeps, diesel, monster trucks, offroad, and bikini contests, this event is for you. Read More2012 Ultimate Adventure Comes to an End
The 2012 Ultimate Adventure came to a finish over the weekend after 9 days, and 1200+ miles. The final trail day followed a river gorge up through the mountains of an old silver mine in Idaho. The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking as Zone’s Jeep Comanche and the rest of the UA convoy made the climb to the top for a final photo. After setting up camp just before sundown, we started yesterday with the sun coming up over the dunes and got ready for a dune of wheeling in the sand dunes and mud flats. The terrain wasn’t the mists challenging, but made for a vast alternative to the rocks and mountain passes we’ve seen so far on this trip. Between steep hill climbs, high speed jumps, and muddy water crossings we filled the first half of the day wheeling before we headed back to camp to pack up our supplies and hit the road. Well we’ve been out of contact for some time now wheeling in remote back country trails, rocks, sand dunes and muddy logging trails, taking tours of Warn’s factory, and cruising through mountain passes. We’ve experienced weather from 85+ degree sunshine to rain, lows in the 40s and snow on the ground. The Comanche has been performing well tackling the terrain will no issues.
