New Zone Offroad 6.5″ Lift Kits now Shipping for 2007-13 Chevy/gmc 1500

Coldwater, MI — Zone Offroad now offers an even more affordable 6.5″ IFS lift kit option for 2007-2013 Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton trucks with the release of the new strut spacer suspension systems. Similar to the existing 6.5″ replacement strut IFS kits, these new kits are designed to improve their trucks appearance, capability, and performance on and offroad with clearance for up 35″ tires.

The key difference with this new kit is a pair of top mounted steel strut spacers to retain the factory ride quality for customers not looking for the added performance of our specially tuned replacement gas struts offered in the #C1 kit.

This new 6.5″ kit has been FMVSS No.126 compliance tested and independently confirmed to not adversely effect the Silverado/Sierra trucks factory installed ESC System. As with all Zone lift kits, this kit is backed by Factory Protection Plus, the comprehensive extended warranty giving you peace of mind on or off the road with a 5-year, 60,000-mile drvetrain warranty, FMVSS No.126 compliance and limited lifetime warranty on the lift kit.

This new suspension offering is based on existing #C1 6.5″ IFS System utilizing the tried and true design to correct suspension geometry using precision machined, ductile cast iron steering knuckles, 1-piece heavy duty crossmember and 3-piece differential relocation system. Along with these core components the system includes a heavy duty steel skid plate and weld-in frame support plate to tie the front and rear crossmembers together and create a rigid subframe.

This kit retains the OEM coil-over struts and uses a top mounted bolt-on strut spacer to retain OE ride quality and speed up installation time. Finishing off the front of this kit are a pair of composite CV axle shaft spacers, brake line brackets and all necessary hardware to raise the front of the GM1500 trucks 6.5″ of lift.

In the rear, the kit utilizes a replacement 5″ cast iron block and u-bolt kit that is installed in place of the factory block kit to lift and level the stance. Rear brake line brackets, bump stop extensions and your choice of hydro or nitro gas shocks finish off this kit.

Along with Nitro shocks, additional accessories include a front “Zone” skid plate for extra protection, Zone adventure series heavy duty upper control arms, and rear add-a-leaf kit. Get your Silverado/Sierra ready for the trail with Zone Offroad Products.

Important Kit Notes:
1) All wheel drive models require front driveline modification
2) Will not fit 2007 Classic Models
3) Minor frame bracket modification required
4) To reduce trimming for tire clearance, 20×9 wheels w/ 5-5.5″ BSing recommended
5) Add-a-leaf kit #C6159 recommended for crew cab models to achieve level stance
6) Will not fit hybrid models with electric steering
