Factory Protection Plus
  • 5-year, 60,000-mile Drivetrain Warranty
  • FMVSS No.126 ESC System Compliance
  • Zone’s Limited Lifetime Warranty

1.25″ Leveling Kit: The 1.25″ leveling kit is designed to eliminate the factory rake of the truck to level the stance from front to rear for slightly larger tires to be installed. The kit uses a pair of laser cut steel top-mounted strut spacers to raise the front ride height while still allowing full range of motion from the factory suspension. Spacers are black e-coated for a clean look and long lasting corrosion protection. The kit is completely bolt-on and does not require disassembly of the factory strut for easy installation. This kit allows for the install of 265/65r17 tires on factory 17″ wheels.

1.5″ Body Lift Kit: If you’re looking for that extra boost to help clear larger tires under your new Colorado/Canyon then the 1.5″ body lift kit is your ticket. This mild body lift is an easy install and can be done in a matter of few hours with basic tools. The kit includes crushproof body blocks, class 10.9 extended mounting hardware, front and rear bumper relocation brackets to maintain original appearance and all the necessary hardware to complete the install. This 1.5″ body lift allows clearance of up to 275/70r17 tires on factory 17″ wheels.

2.75″ Combo Lift Kit: If you’re looking to get the benefits of both the leveling and body lift and save a  few bucks, the combo kit is a great option. This 2.75″ combo kit offers a level stance and room for up to 285/70r17 tires on factory 17″ wheels. The 1.5″ body lift with crushproof body blocks extended mounting hardware, and front/rear bumper brackets are packaged with 1.25″ e-coated steel top mount strut spacers for an affordable lift option to improve the look and performance of your 2015 Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon.

5.5″ IFS Lift Kit: This new suspension system for the 2015-2016 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon 4WD models to lift and level the stance, improve the trucks performance and comply with government mandated ESC System standards. This kit has been independently tested and passed the FMVSS No.126 to not effect the functionality of the OEM installed electronic stability control system keeping you and those around you safe on the road. The engineers at Zone Offroad brought together their combined decades of suspension knowledge into developing this new 5.5″ IFS lift kit allowing Colorado/Canyon owners to get the most from their new midsize trucks on and offroad. To properly lift the new Colorado/Canyon suspension 5.5”, the kit starts with a new ductile cast iron steering knuckles. The new knuckles position the critical steering and control arm mounting locations and work in harmony with the heavy-duty fabricated crossmembers.  Along with new crossmembers, the provided differential drop brackets lower and reposition the front differential for correct CV shaft angles and still allow for use of the factory front driveshaft.  A front driveshaft spacer is included to adjust the length and retain optimum CV joint position. To improve offroad protection and further add rigidity, a full width differential skid plate is supplied tying the 2 crossmember together. To retain OEM ride quality the factory struts are retained and a top mounted strut spacer is installed to gain the full 5.5” of lift.  The strut spacer design also speeds up installation as it does not require any strut disassembly. The spacers are designed to properly angle and position the struts to eliminate strut binding through wheel travel. Also included are extended sway bar links, bump stop extensions and brake line relocation to complete the front of this 5.5″ kit. Out back, the rear kit includes a 4″ block and u-bolt kit to lift and level the stance. Finishing off the rear are your choice of hydro or nitro gas shocks. Unfortunately not Kyle. There are some differences that do not allow the gas body lift/combo kit options to work on the Duramax equipped Colorado/Canyon trucks. Our 5.5″ suspension lift kit will fit the diesel trucks.

What are the backspacing and offset measurements for the 20×9 Raceline Mamba wheels shown fitted on the example red Colorado with the 5.5in lift and the 33×12.5 General Grabber tires?

The 20×9 Racelines Mamba’s were custom drilled for this application at the time to prototyping this kit and ultimately had around a 5.45″ BSing (5.7″ BSing spec’d wheel with .25″ wheel spacers to allow them to clear the brake calipers).

I am considering purchasing a 2016 SLT 4X4 Canyon with 18″ wheels. I want to install the 5.5 suspension lift. Will I still be able to use the factory wheels?

Hey Freddie, stock 17-18″ wheels cannot be reinstalled directly onto the truck with our kit due to clearance issues. You would need to install wheel spacers to achieve our recommended 4.5-5.25″ backspacing measurement. For more on the topic contact Zone sales/tech support at (888) 998-9663

I have a 2016 GMC Canyon with the 2.75 combo lift and level kit. Can I put some 285-65-18 BF Goodrich TA KO2 on my 18 in rims?

2016 Colorado Duramax / 10,600km / 5.5″ Zone Lift / 20″ wheels & 33″ Tires / We are on the second Round of the stabilizer link breaking, I am wondering if there is a new stronger component available. The top bolt and bushings have broken off twice now on the passenger side and once on the driver. Dealer said the stress on the driver side when driving with passenger side broken could be the issue. Meaning in order to prevent a never ending cycle we need to replace both at the same time with stronger parts?

Hey Christopher, sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your factory steering linkage. We don’t offer a heavy duty replacement and at this time I don’t know of anyone else that does for the new Colorado/Canyon. I’d recommend reaching out to Zone tech support on the topic as well, they may have more information to assist you, (888) 998-9663 or [email protected]

I have a 2016 Canyon Crew Cab with the diesel engine and was wondering if any of the Fox coilover shocks were compatible with the 5.5″ lift kit?

Hey Zeke,
Thanks for reaching out. While we don’t offer the FOX coilover options with our kits, the FOX 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers offered by our sister company BDS Suspension are compatible with our 5.5″ lift kits. Our lift kits fit both the gas and diesel equipped new Colorado/Canyon trucks.

#88302136 – FOX 2.5 Remote Resi (non-DSC) Coilovers
#88306136 – FOX 2.5 Remote DSC Resi Coilovers

I have a 2016 Canyon Crew Cab with gas and I was wondering what lift could I buy? and the largest size wheels and tires I can use with a 5.5 in lift or 6 in lift
Thanks in advance!

Hey Joe, we list recommended max wheel/tire specs on our website with each product page. In the case of the 5.5″ lift kit we recommend 305/55r20 (33×12.50) tires on 20×9 wheels with 5.25″ backspacing. 17-18″ wheels can be used, however you’ll want 4.5″ backspacing for steering clearance and a smaller 295/70r17 tire to fender clearance due to the smaller backspacing. Other sizes may fit, but trimming may be required, check out the kit at http://zoneoffroad.com/zone-offroad-products-5-6in-suspension-lift-kit-chevy-colorado-canyon/c39

I have a 2016 canyon 4×4 I put on a level spacer kit from another co. did not level my truck I got only 3/4 in. I want to try your 2.75 kit
will it give me the full 1.25 and what would the max tire size be with factory 18 rims….thinking 265/70/18 or maybe 275/7018

Hi Allan, out 2.75″ leveling kit is designed to raise the front suspension 1.25″ to level the stance while working withing the factory suspension parameters to not max out upper ball joints at full droop and combines it with a 1.5″ body lift to allow room for 285/70r17 (or comparable) tires with only minor trimming to clear in all driving situations. Both the 265/70r18 or 275/70r18 are slightly larger than the tire we spec, but would fit with some trimming, the 265/70r18 would fit better being its smaller.
