More UA Coverage!
Check out the December 2011 issue of Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine for more coverage of the 2011 Ultimate Adventure. This issue covers the last few days of the journey around the Midwest as 20+ rigs get pushed to max tryign to complete this week long journey full of long road days, challenging off-road terrain, and immense heat and humidity. The UA combines some lucky readers, event sponsors, magazine staff, and a number of camera guys that have an eagle eye on the action. Dave DeVormer and Carter Reed, Zone Offroad Reps piloted the company’s ’90 Jeep Comanche MJ on the trip, and despite a frantic 6 week build with no time for testing, the rig preformed well on the journey. Although they had some front axle issues early on, the MJ was able to complete the 2011 UA.
