Zone Offroad recently attended the Lima Jamboree May 15-17th. I took the Zone 08 Chevy loaded down with the show goods. It has the 6.5” suspension lift and 1.5” body lift clearings some new M16 37×13.50×20’s. This was my first time driving it with the new tires, I’ve gotta say the tires rode pretty well for the aggressive tread, but also had a tendency to put me to sleep w/ the constant hum. I guess it wasn’t bad compared to the boggers on my Jeep, but definitely nothing like the ATZ’s that was on there before.
The weather forecast wasn’t looking all that great for the show as of Thurs night or even Friday morning, but the rain did hold off until at Saturday afternoon, but even then it cleared up after a few hours. Still, the jamboree had an increase in people attending, however it seemed to me the vendor numbers were a little down. Good for us I guess! I saw many familiar faces from last year, but also met many new ones whether is was inquiring about our lifts, accessories or at least the beer koozies. I also ran into a few guys this year running our lifts with nothing but great things to say about us. I think they were trying to get some free stuff! I’ve got to shout out to the Wyatt High Rollers for the evening entertainment. Overall, it was great to get out and spread the word about Zone Offroad and the value we offer to our customers. Next stop Springfield, IL June 27-28! C-ya there!
