Coldwater, MI–December 1, 2011 –Due to popular demand, Zone Offroad now offers a complete 4.25″ combo lift for your 1997-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ. This combo kit brings together the 3″ suspension lift, 1.25″ body lift, and 1″ motor mount lift into one package to provide superior value for Jeep TJ owners.
Not only does this package improve the on road ride and handling characteristics, it performs amazing out on the trails, allowing for up to a 33″ tire with plenty of room for articulation. When compared to your stock TJ, this kit increases droop by 4-3/4″ and increases wheel travel from the stock 7″ to a full 10”. One of the key aspects to this 4.25″ combo lift kit, is the elimination of the transfer case drop, and ability to retain the use of the factory rear driveshaft. Essentially the supplied motor mount lift replaces the transfer case drop included with other systems and improves the rear driveline angles by tilting the transfer case output down towards the rear axle. This means you not only get optimal ground clearance at the belly pan, but also increased ground clearance at the engine’s oil pan, a significant benefit in comparison to a suspension lift alone. Furthermore, by installing the motor mount lift in combination with the body lift, it re-aligns the engine fan with the shroud eliminating the need to trim the shroud as most body lifts require.
Available with your choice of fixed front sway bar links or sway bar disconnects for improved articulation, this system is certainly one of the best values on the market today to clear 33’s with more ground clearance than most other systems.
