Zone’s Comanche has had a busy tour of duty over the last year since being built in just 6 short weeks for the 2011 Ultimate Adventure and heading out for events all over the country from PA Jeep Show to Easter Jeep Safari and even SEMA. Once again Zone Offroad is proud to be the official suspension of the Ultimate Adventure. We’ve had some time now to rework a number of components on the rig and get it ready for the 2012 Ultimate Adventure with Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. While we can’t disclose the location of this year’s journey,

Well the cat’s out of the bag now. If 4Wheel & Off-Road’s Fred Williams stopping by a few weeks back (see video) to install a Zone prototype long arm wasn’t a big enough clue, Zone Offroad is the Official Suspension of the 2012 Ultimate Adventure. Following Fred watching the Jeep build and stop at  Zone’s R&D shop to lift his 2012 Jeep JK,  he headed west for Moab, Utah to give the Jeep a shakedown at Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep’s in Spokane, WA now for the rest of the build up, keep an eye out for some big changes

Fred Williams, Tech Editor of Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine stopped by Zone’s R&D facilities earlier this week with a brand spankin’ new 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon. This rig is being built up for the 2012 Ultimate Adventure and will be featuring some pretty radical modification by the time its finished. Fred’s stop at Zone was to get the Zone prototype long arm suspension installed on the JK and swap the stock tires for a set of 35” Nitto Trail Grapplers. In the end, a Zone 4” prototype longarm lift kit with Zone Nitro shocks and stabilizer were installed

Tech Editor of 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine, Fred Williams stopped by Zone Offroad today after picking up a brand spankin’ new 2012 Wrangler JK Rubicon to build as the official 2012 Ultimate Adventure vehicle. He’s bringing it by for a upgrade the suspension in preparation for the summer’s events. What kits going on it you might ask…. you’ll have to wait to the end of the day to see… Keep up with the live updates throughout the day on 4W&OR’s Facebook and Zone’s Facebook pages and follow the Jeep as it crosses the country getting built up for the UA.
