How to Install | 2019+ GM1500 Lift Kits

Shortly after GM rolled out the redesigned 2019 model Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models the crew at Zone Offroad rolled out several lift options for the new platform. From leveling kits to UCA lift kits and full 4"/6" IFS lift kits, Zone Offroad offers a wide range of options for the late model GM1500 trucks. In addition to the standard models, Zone also offers kits for the 2" taller Trail Boss/AT4 models as well as the Adaptive Ride Control (ARC) equipped Denali 1500 models. All of these trucks use the same based suspension geometry with specific features for each.

On this particular install feature we're spotlighting the Zone 4" IFS lift kit on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss which will sit similar to the stance of a Zone 6" equipped standard Silverado 1500. These kit comes complete with everything needed to properly lift these trucks.

Kit Features:

  • Heavy duty crossmembers and skid plates for protection
  • New steering knuckles for strength & ESC compatibility (allow use of factory wheels)
  • Adventure series upper control arms improve strength, durability and travel over stock arms
  • Top mounted front strut spacer retains factory ride quality and allow for easy installation
  • Multi-point differential relocation brackets to correctly position from axle
  • Replacement rear lift block and and u-bolts to level stance while retaining ride quality
  • Nitro series gas or FOX 2.0 adventure series rear shocks
  • All necessary hardware, brake line brackets and step-by-step instructions

Install is estimated at around 8 hours with a difficulty of 3 out of 5. While it can be performed in the driveway or garage, utilizing a skilled shop to install is recommended. To find a local shop for the install, click here.
