The dust is finally starting to settle as Zone returns from the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This annual show brings together the automotive aftermarket manufacturers, industry professionals, and the media for a 4 day event to show off the latest and greatest the aftermarket has to offer. This year saw record attendance as over 100,000 people met in sin city to look at products from over 2,000 exhibiting companies. This year marked our 5th year exhibiting at the SEMA as we set up in our usual 25×80 booth space in the South Hall and teamed up with the other divisions of Sport Truck USA Inc (BDS Suspension, JKS Manufacturing, and Posi-Lok) to showcase new products and make some big announcements. Our booth space this year was transformed into a bar setting as we welcomed industry professionals, current dealers, and the media in for an ice cold beer and a casual conversation. On display some of the combo kits available for late model applications, 2014 Chevy/GMC lift kits, 2013/2014 Ram HD kits, and new boxed upper control arms that are coming available for popular IFS trucks.
Zone’s biggest announcement at the show however, was the Factory Protection Plus Program, a comprehensive package that includes the Zone’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, FMVSS No.126 ESC System testing, and 5 year – 60,000 mile drivetrain protection coverage. There was quite a buzz going around the show with the announcements as many stopped by hang out in the booth and hear more about new products and hear about the new extended warranty program.
Around the show Zone worked with a number of show builders to showcase products on a number of show trucks. From booth vehicles to featured vehicles Zone’s presence was well received around the show. Zone’s SEMA JK project was on display over in the SEMA Technology Booth in the lobby of Central Hall to help promote all the companies involved with the FMVSS No.126 ESC System compliancy testing.
Without a doubt this was our best year at SEMA. A big thank you to everyone, our dealers, new customers, media members, builders and friends from around the industry for helping make the 2013 SEMA Show an amazing event. We’re excited for the future and looking forward to 2014!
