Zone Offroad launched the Adventure Series Upper Control Arms (UCA) in order to offer affordable heavy duty UCAs designed for leveled and lifted IFS trucks. These arms are built from 1/8" steel, fully boxed and welded with OE rubber bushings and a traditional ball joint preinstalled for a long, quiet, service life and superior corrosion resistance compared to uniball style joints. As with all serviceable parts, when the time comes to replace the upper ball joints, Zone Offroad offers replacement MOOG ball joints and ball joint master kits on the shelf ready for install. This makes sourcing the correct ball joint simple and quick.
Standard ball joint kits include: (1) MOOG ball joint with nut, cotter pin and snap ring.
Ball joint master kits include: (1) MOOG ball joint with nut, cotter pin, snap ring, red anodized aluminum cap and extended grease fittings.
These ball joints are designed as a direct fit replacement for Zone Offroad adventure series arms and will not fit the OE upper control arms. So when/if the time comes to replace your upper ball joints, keep your Zone adventure series equipped truck performing at its best with these heavy duty MOOG replacements.

Hey guys, how do you change the ball joint on your uca for the 2007-2013 1500 trucks? Long story short is I ordered your control arms a few months ago from an online dealer and received what looked like a used unit and was not greasable do to the threads being stripped out for the zerk on the joint. I emailed them and was not happy with my purchase but was in the middle of an entire suspension upgrade and lift kit on my truck so didn’t want to return and have my truck inoperable any longer than it needed to be. I purchased a replacement ball joint master kit and just this weekend finally attempted to swap them out. But when attempting to press out the ball joint on the arm I could not get it to budge even slightly. Does it come out through the top or bottom? I cannot find any literature anywhere on this matter. I actually ruined one of the adapters on my ball joint press kit from the force I was giving trying to get it out! Please advise! Thank you in advance!
